Funcinpec to receive the blessing from King-Father

King Father Norodom Sihanouk has not cared about his prominent son by permitting 11 former resistance generals and dignitaries of the FUNCINPEC [National United Front for an Independent, Neutral, Peaceful, and Cooperative Cambodia] Party to see him in Beijing.
A FUNCINPEC official disclosed that the party would receive best wishes from the king father, the party founder, for the success in the fourth-mandate national election. The 11 FUNCINPEC generals and dignitaries would leave Cambodia on 24 February to meet the king father.
Nhiek Bun Chhay boasts that Funcinpec will get 15 seats at the 2008 election
While some observers predict that, based on the 2007 commune election results, in the upcoming July 2008 general election, Funcinpec could obtain only one seat at the National Assembly, Nhiek Bun Chhay, Funcinpec secretary-general, boasted that his party will obtain between 15 to 16 seats.
